Shell Stitch Baby Blanket
This is a beautiful and classic example of how the shell stitch can be used to build a baby blanket. It’s dense enough to be warm, but not so heavy as to make the baby overheat: the two essentials of baby blankets. Also, the lovely texture will give little fingers lots of area to explore. And lastly, the 32 by 32 size is perfect for wrapping the littlest ones, or using this as a bassinet cover.
