Baby Covered in Green, Free Crochet Patterns

Baby things don’t only come in pink and blue.

Here are some patterns to show you that pink and blue are not the sole choices of color for baby items. Thus, we have collated a number of green patterns for wonderful crochet baby blankets that will be the toast of the crib. These are all easy or relatively easy patterns that will have you blaze away with the hook, resulting in amazing projects that will leave your baby covered in green. Of course, you can modify them and go back to the traditional pink or blue, however you can also use any other hue that strikes your fancy (green preferred :D).

6-day Kid Blanket

The 6-day kid blanket is a wonderful, wavy cover that is just right for the baby in terms of thickness. It also has distinct bands of texture, that are further highlighted by alternating shades of green. It’s simply gorgeous and perfect for a present.

Shell Stitch Crochet Baby Blanket

The shell stitch crochet baby blanket is also another project with a richly variegated texture. In this case, the colors  themselves are the differentiator between different sections, as the surface is contiguous between edges. Speaking thereof, this blanket has a dense border quite different from the main body, thus giving it a crisp, definite edge. A link to the free pattern is under the photos.
