This pattern is a neat idea how to use flat circular motifs as centerpieces for granny squares. The author uses Stylecraft Special Aran yarn and an H-sized hook, but any other yarn and appropriate hook can also be used. This is a great idea to make a large polka-dot granny square blanket, afghan or throw. With hypoallergenic, soft yarns, this would be an ideal baby blanket as well. It will be nice and easy project, especially when you will match all spring hues. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
