I love turtles, and I hope you do too.

Once again, it’s time for some cute and cuddly chelonians, however this time they’ll be the theme of some patterns for a turtle blanket. Of course, regardless of whether you crochet them into a design or put them on as a fun and interesting applique. Overall, it’s not really a question of how the turtle finds its way into the project, but how much heart and love you put into it. In turn, this will become the real heart and soul of a lovely and well loved project. Consequently, there is no end to the chelonian creativity you can engage in.

Baby Sea Turtle Blanket

This project is without a doubt one of the finest examples of the genre. In particular, I love the transition of sand to surf and I bet this would be a great setting for an imaginary seaside in the nursery.

Next, here is another turtle blanket that evokes the sea, sand and the trek into the ocean. While this blanket may seem a bit more complex, it truly is an easy and fun project even for a beginner.
