I’m able to show you this amazing dress thanks to its designer, Halina Matson. If you are looking for something spectacular and different for your baby or toddler or you are planning a baby shower gift then look no further, you have found it. This pattern is meant for a 6-12 month baby. Here, you can find free diagrams for the dress, sandals and a headband. A full paid version of the written pattern for a baby and  toddler (12-24 month) is also is available at Etsy.  Of course, you can adjust the pattern to make it bigger; or to make the prettiest outfit in the whole world for an American Girl doll. 3. Hi all. I just love the fantail crochet dress and am trying to make it for my little granddaughter’s first birthday on the 21st July this year. I have your diagram pattern but am very confused with the diagram abbreviations. For example, you have an “x” as a single crochet, yet I cannot find any x on the diagram??? Also, you have a “|” as a half double crochet and then you have “1/2” double crochet???? If you are able to clarify these queries for me, I would be most grateful. Thank you. Celia Leondis

Lovely pattern, but need written instructions. Your diagrams are confusing and don’t follow normal diagram crochet patterns. Do you have written patterns for it? In your Etsy shop, the pattern you are selling, is it a diagram as well or written instructions? I would like to make a batch of pattern purchases of yours, but please tell me are they written instructions? Thank you
