Ponchos – you just can’t not love the comfort and versatility!

The poncho was originally the outer garment of choice for outdoors types, such as the military, cowboys and hikers. Presently, though, the poncho is also a fashion statement, as elegant or as casual as you care to make it. Moreover, the crochet poncho is also a very comfortable jacket of intermediate warmth with lots of room to customize and have fun with. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, they are easy patterns, so that even a beginner can have a fancy, hand-made garment for herself.

Uptown Poncho

The uptown poncho is a beautiful, asymmetrical coat. It’s further enhanced with a row of large buttons on one side and a skewed collar on the other. The whole thing topped off with a lower, lacy quarter is truly a chic accent.
