Anybody remember their chemistry lessons? LEO the lion says GER!

Even if you didn’t like chemistry, surely you can imagine just how cute Leo the Lion must have been! Well, here are some amigurumi lion free crochet patterns that will let you have your very own king of the jungle. These are all easy patterns that work up quickly and don’t use up a whole lot of yarn. Now, if a single lion is not enough, you could always make a few lionesses (same figurine, just no main) and build a pride even Leo or Lewis would be proud of.

Mini Pals-Lewis the lion

Lewis is a cute ami lion helper who will watch over your crocheting supplies. This little leonine figurine is a joy to make due to it’s simple shapes and basic techniques.

Leon Lion Amigurumi

Leon is an ever slightly more ambitious lion ami. For instance, the mane is a more complex creation of frizzy yarn ends, and the figurine itself is made of more numerous and less symmetrical shapes. At the same time, this is by no means difficult, so an ambitious beginner should feel right at home with this pattern.
