Rainbow Afghan Free Crochet Pattern

This beautiful, timeless pattern will be perfect both as a bedspread or a nursery blanket. An eye-catching pattern in a shape of shells alternating with rainbows, it makes for one of the most unique textures among afghans. Although the rainbow hues are very characteristic for this pattern, you can try more neutral colors, like in a blue palette. A link to a free pattern is at the end of the post.

I just started mine last night. The only difference I noticed in the pattern is that I chose to do the color opposite of craftin granny as here red was at bottom of the rainbow and I wanted it flipped.
