Pattern Notes

This is a beginner-friendly crochet pattern, and I’m using US terms.

Materials and Tools

• Super fine weight yarn: green, beige, white, red, brown   
• crochet hook: 3 mm 
• tapestry needle  
• scissors  
• stuffing

• rice

Notes

• You can use your own colors of yarn to make them more personalized.   
• To make your gnomes possible to stand, you can add rice, hot melt glue, sand, etc. to the bottom. 
• You can easily change the size of your gnomes by using different yarn weight and hook.

Stuff the arm, fold in half and sc 4 together, cut off the yarn.

Ch 60, attach the string to the opposite side of the basket and weave in ends.

Dots 

Using white yarn: 

Small: 6 sc in MR, slst 

Medium: 6 hdc in MR, slst 

Big: 6 sc in MR, slst, ch, inc 6, slst 

Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a longer piece for attaching. Make as many dots as you want.

Assembling 

1. Attach all the dots to the hat and put stuffing inside.     

2. Put stuffing inside the body.  

3. Connect the hat with the body by slst 90 around or sewing together.   

4. Cut 12 pieces of white yarn, each approx. 20 cm / 8”. 

5. Attach each piece under the hat. 

6. Sew up the nose above the beard. 

7. Put the basket on the gnome.
