Free Blanket CALs You Don’t Want to Miss in 2021

Here you will find the great CALs for the remainder of 2021. Since my post about CALs released in 2020 met will your warm response, here is the next part of it dedicated to new CALs started in 2021. In particular, each of the CALs is free and will start within a few days/weeks. They will be a great way to get together and build community with your fellow crocheters. Without a doubt, you will have a wonderful CAL blanket to show off and enjoy. Besides, it will simply be fun to work on things together.

Miope Blanket CAL

This beautiful blanket will be a perfect as a bedspread which allow you to show off all the designed details and richness of its texture. The pattern will be available for free to the end of June 2021. To join the CAL you will be asked to sign in to designer’s Facebook Group.

This CAL will be an absolute hit. As all designs by Hooked on Sunshine, it is characterize by an elegant and richly textured surface. The finished blanket will measure 1.6 x 1.6 m. The first part of the CAL will be released April 16th, but on the Easter weekend you will get all details about yarn and stitch tutorials.

Picnic on the Beach

This CAL started on February 26th and will last 8 weeks. Designed a bit like a sampler blanket, there are a lots of stitches combined in it, starting with gingham checks in the middle of the blanket. Although it may look as a very engaging project, the final effect is worth every second, because it’s pleasing both to make and to look at.

Filet Fantastic Blanket CAL 2021

The CAL will start on 5 March 2021 and will last till 21 May 2021. Overall, this is a wonderful, rainbow-themed CAL and a wonderful blanket.

Since the Meadow Blanket CAL was published throughout January and February 2021, it’s fully ready for you to start. Most important, the meadow stitch is simple and easy to memorize. Therefore, in the pattern, you will also find useful tension recommendations and a color scheme, so this is a perfect project if you are a newbie and need specific instructions.
