“Mended Hearts” is a large-ish afghan measuring 51 by 71 inches. While it’s lovely in its own right, the pattern also carries a comforting message. It’s one of those projects that really render what crocheting is all about: the combination of color, texture, technique and a modicum of emotion. “Mended Hearts” is an intermediate project that will keep the more advanced of us entertained, but still give the ambitious beginner a run for her money. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
