I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

The Little Sweetie set is so cute, so sweet you could almost put it in your coffee ? This is a beautiful project for your own little girl, as a present for a niece or friend’s little girl or as a dress for a large doll. The project is easy to make, and has a lovely, highly textured bottom with a denser, more conforming shoulder piece. It will be a fun project to take on, and to do in multiples, varying the yarn colors and color layout: from a monochrome dress and headband with a simple string bow, all the way through a complex color gradient and fancy applique decorations.A link to the free pattern is under the photos.
