Koala Blanket

Everybody loves these super cute not-bears. These eucalyptus eating critters are in fact marsupials, live in trees and are just the most adorable looking creatures you can imagine.

As such, they are simply perfect as a theme for crocheted items, whether as an applique, or a standalone item.

Moss Stitch Blanket with Koala Applique

Here is an excellent example of a blanket, on which the koala is an applique, looking all cute and adorable while hanging on to his eucalyptus branch. What a great way to work an Australia-themed motif onto an item of daily use. This is an easy project and will be appreciated by recipients of all ages. Bonza!
