Flowers are a very good motif for baby blankets, and there are a myriad ways to incorporate them into such projects. Here are two patterns that demonstrate just about two polar opposites of how it’s done. The first is a crocheted flower and picket fence motif that is a part of the regular stitch. The second is a central rosette motif in a square, which looks almost like an applique. Which do you prefer? Can you think of a way to work these into your projects?
