Hello, crocheting Newbies and Veterans alike! If you are in urgent need of a handmade blankie for a special little someone, these patterns for Easy-Peasy Baby Blankets will save the day. You don’t need much experience, just some patience and a little time! Best of all, these are beautiful, advanced-looking patterns with a lot of wow factor in them.

Stashaholic Brain Dead Afghan Free Crochet Pattern

Here is a beautiful afghan pattern with a lovely shingled texture that could be both a baby blanket, or made to a larger size as a bedspread or adult blanket. This pattern is a great idea, because its broad bands don’t individually use up a lot of yarn, meaning you could size this project out to use up an existing stash, rather than buying a bunch of new stock. Of course, if you do use up the stash, you will have an excuse to run out to get more, so there’s no actual downside.
