I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

There is nothing in this world that compares to welcoming a new little human to the family.

To celebrate this, here are some ideas for crocheted baby accessories. Since research and life experience shows that stimulating your kids appropriately is crucial to their development, why not give them the start they need with these baby play mobiles? Moreover, these are just about the cutest and most attractive decorations you can have for a nursery. Therefore, why not put a ray of sunshine and a joyous note in the room that deserves it most?

Happy Day Mobile

The Happy Day  mobile is undoubtedly just that: a mobile composed of things that say “happiness”. Thus, there is a smiling sun, some fluffy white clouds, a rainbow and some happy pitter-pat raindrops done in easy shapes. Consequently should pose no great challenge to any crocheter.

Lamb & Baby Mobile Free Crochet Pattern

Baby mobiles and flying sheep… Oh my! This is one of the most adorable and joyful baby mobiles I’ve ever seen. Indisputably, it’s an amazing decoration for a nursery, over the cot or changing station. Best of all, this is also educational, helping your baby to focus their eyesight and eye alignment and to swat and bat with their hands when they’re a little bigger.
