As we’re into spring, but it’s not quite warm yet, it’s a great time for hoodies.

Crochet baby hoodie is a great item of apparel, because it wears just like an ordinary sweatshirt, but the hood provides an additional bit of warmth for the head and a cute tough-guy look. Moreover, the hood also provides additional opportunities to be playful and work in items such as ears, googly eyes and other joy some items in kids hoodies. Lastly, these crochet baby hoodies are all fairly easy projects, so you can attempt them, even if you are still at the beginning of tour crochet journey.

Here is a hooded cardigan that is a tad less decorated, a little understated, but  features lovely finished-off hems. Its texture is an attractive counterpoint to the lively shades of blue and green (or whichever colors you choose).

Colorful Stripes Sweater

The Colorful Stripes Sweater is made from the top down. The pattern is not complicated, but you have to be familiar with the herringbone half-double crochet (HHDC). If you are just learning how to make it, you can follow a video tutorial by Daisy Farm Crafts on Youtube. The pattern size is meant for 2 years old.
