A rag doll is a perennial favourite, regardless of season.

The traditional rag doll has to be one of the most time-honored and loved toys of all time. To this point, the following selection shows us a modern take on this all-time classic. While beginner-friendly, these lovely rag doll crochet patterns are also exciting and perfect for a handmade gift. Indeed almost every one of us had a favourite rag doll in our childhood, well-loved, well-worn and we just couldn’t be without it. Here are some patterns to relive some of that magic. If you intend to make them for small kids, please consider using crocheted eyes for safety.

Polar Bear Rag Doll

This polar bear is super adorable, easy and was created for tiny hands to hug him and squeeze him and call him George :D. The eyes of this toy were embroidered which is super safe for a baby. It’s is a great gift option for any occasion, but a heart on the bear’s belly makes him an excellent Valentine’s Day gift idea.
