I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

C2C patterns translate well to crochet because of their repeated unit structure. This C2C Macaw parrot is a great example of what can be done in the C2C paradigm with a lot flashy colors and an eye-catching subject to crochet.  A link to the free pattern is below photos.

For a more subdued and cool C2C project, have a look at the Gray Wolf C2C. Very regal and distinguished, isn’t he? It would look great on a pillow or blanket. I’m sure any little boy (and most girls at that) would love a blanket or bedspread like this.
