Origami Blanket Free Crochet Pattern
The Origami blanket is inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding, a beautiful craft of making complex and intricate shapes out of folded, colored paper. This blanket is an homage to that art, making use of geometric patterns, squares and triangles, to lay out a multi-faceted, caleidoscope-like design. This project is a MAL (Make-Along) that will run over 8 weeks. A link to the free pattern is below photos.

Hybrid Quilt Free Crochet Pattern
The hybrid quilt is a similar project in that it uses squares and half-squares to achieve an origami-like effect, but it’s texturally different and will make a distinct and unique blanket as well. Explore it because this whole space is a wonderful part of the craft to participate in.
