I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

The problem with most stash-user-upper projects is that they’re small, fiddly, and usually limited to decorative items. Wouldn’t it be great if a full-fledged project could use up odds, ends and “those might be useful one-day” skeins? Look no further, this amazing shawl will allow you to use up not only disregarded skeins of yarn, but all those annoying bits of yarn that are a bit useless, but that you just can’t bear to throw away. Not only that, this heavy and warm shawl will be the perfect fashion accessory for the upcoming not-so-warm season. Fall or winter, this project is sure to be a hit.
