A close-up of a handmade crochet granny square wave baby blanket with rows of white, pink, red, orange, and brown yarn on a light grey background.

You can adapt this baby blanket into an adult size blanket if you like. After Round 34, simply continue with the same sequence of 3 rounds as before until you reach your desired size.

The sequence:

  • Repeat Round 11
  • A round that increases by one more 3-dc cluster in between your 4-dc clusters, for example: Ch2 (counts as dc), 3 dc in same sp, ch1, *(3 dc in next sp, ch1) rep brackets 11 times more, 4 dc in next sp, ch1* rep from * to * around, (3 dc in next sp, ch1) rep brackets 9 times more, sl st to top of second dc of the round. – so you’re increasing the 3-dc cluster count by 12, 13, 14, and so on
  • Repeat of Round 13
