IKEA cork trivets are useful, but my Goodness are they ever boring. This pattern is a solution to that pesky problem. The mandala-inspired cover gives the hot pad a whole new look and feel, colorful and joysome, enabling you to match the trivets to your decor and giving your kitchen a splash of color, particularly needed in the case of some very severe, modern decor. It’s a fun and useful project to make.  A ink to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
