Daisy Nine Square CAL
This is a large CAL project that started on October 8th and will run through to January 21 of next year. The author plans a weekly release with some breaks in between. This is a great project that experiments with different techniques, uses different color combinations and produces a highly varied surface. Even if you take odds with the color scheme (and the author says you should do your own thing with them at any rate) you can easily adapt it to your tastes and needs. 35-Square Blanket
If you want something less flashy, but just as fun to make, try the 35 Square blanket with its lovely, subdued and traditional colors, which look almost like wall tiles you find on buildings in the Mediterranean. This, too, is a beautiful and worthwhile project based on squares.
