Non-rectangular blankets make great centerpieces on an expanse of floor. This particular one is a hexagon made of six identical equilateral triangles, with a gradient of bands and lacy inserts in the bands. It is a very attractive and easy, though somewhat time consuming project. In particular, the combination of colors and textures will make it a great conversation piece if it’s visibly placed on a large floor.
