Anybody remember their chemistry lessons? LEO the lion says GER!

Well, here are some amigurumi lion free crochet patterns that will let you have your very own king of the jungle. These are all easy amigurumi lion patterns that work up quickly as well as not requiring a whole lot of yarn, thus being great stash busters. However, if a single lion is not enough, you could always make a few lionesses (same figurine, just no main) and build a pride even Leo or Lewis would be proud of. Furthermore, with Leo the zodiac sign being not too far off in the future this is a great idea for a birthday gift.

Ragdoll Lion

To begin with, we have a classic ragdoll amigurumi lion. This is a beautiful, fun and very traditional pattern for a toy.

Leon Lion Amigurumi

However, Leon Lion is an ever slightly more ambitious amigurumi lion. For instance, the mane is a more complex creation of frizzy yarn ends, and the figurine itself is made of more numerous and less symmetrical shapes. At the same time, this is by no means difficult, so an ambitious beginner should feel right at home with this pattern.
