And the cat came back the very next day! And a good thing too, because Jeremy the Amigurumi Cat is a lovely toy, just right in size for little hands to hug and play with. The pattern is perhaps a little more involved than the average ami animal, mainly because of the accessories, but it’s nevertheless a very rewarding and fun project that will be appreciated by any ami collector.
Speaking of crocheted animals, cats in general are a very good theme for your ami projects. They are very versatile, and can be made in any color or theme you care to imagine, all the way from fierce and scary (Halloween, hint, hint!) to cute and funny. The large ami cats pattern shown below is a good example of the latter. Check it out!
