Take a break from holiday projects with some scallop stitch projects.

While the run-up to Thanksgiving and Christmas is one of the most “crochetable” seasons, it’s sometimes good to relax and work on non-thematic patterns. To this end, here are some amazing scalloped triangle shawl projects to help you crochet relaxing, fun and beautiful garments. Indeed, the scalloped shawls exhibit a beautiful, lacy yet dense texture that’s perfect for wrapping up in. Of course, such a shawl will also function very well as an accessory to most outfits, but will also look fabulous draped over the back of an armchair as a decoration. However, if you still want to keep to the holiday theme, why not modify them with Thanksgiving-themed colors?

This plump baby doll will be your baby’s best squishy friend. It has a pacifier and lovely rosy cheeks. Play with colors on this one to make it really unique! We recommend changing safety eyes to embroidery, though.

Scalloped Triangle Shawl in Magenta and Lilac

Finally, we have this wonderful, lacy shawl in a gentle magenta and lilac palette. I especially like the airy texture with lots of interesting voided sections.

This softie is very magical! It’s actually quite easy to make, because its body is left unfilled. Adding fun applique on the belly area will make it even more unique, so go for it! We recommend using embroidery instead of safety eyes, though.
