Don’t leave your Christmas decorations till December to get things ready. Beat the rush!

Why is it always that when we make crochet Christmas decorations, we leave it until the proverbial last minute? Consequently, instead of enjoying the season, we end up running ragged trying to make it TBCE (The. Best. Christmas. Ever.). Why not get a head start, get going now and beat the rush entirely. Moreover, it’s the middle of Summer, and if you’re at all like me,  the heat sometimes gets to us. Therefore, why not add a touch of cool, some snowy ambience to the midsummer scorcher? Here are some tiny Christmas decorations to get you going.

Snowman Brooch Free Crochet Pattern

 This snowman brooch is a tiny little accent which nevertheless will accessorize really well with other Christmas items, or will function super well on its own, in  a setting that’s not decorated at all. Think about it: you’re at the office, business suit on, everybody is all serious and professional, but here is little Frosty adding a bit of Christmas cheer to the gloom. Ugly Sweater Ornament Free Crochet Pattern

These tiny sweaters are so ugly, they’re beautiful! They’ll be a great hanging ornament for a tree or wreath, but additionally will be wonderful for decorating that extra special present. Want to make a truly ugly gift wrapper? Use craft paper, as shown, or instead get your hands on some old newspapers… Recycle, “uglify” and have lots of fun!
