Smooth is nice, but sometimes textured is good too

Are you somewhat tired of even, smooth and, frankly, planar crochet projects? I know I have been, and therefore here are some ideas for cowls with richly textured surfaces. Despite their more convolved shape, these are still easy and fun patterns that allow you to have a quick and attractive garment without undue effort. Moreover, they are also great for customizing, with such things as ombre yarns for example. Regardless of whether you follow the pattern exactly or customize, you will definitely enjoy these textured cowl free patterns.
