Here is another great pattern for an afghan not made out of squares, but done in lengthwise strips. This is a beautifully textured blanket with inset strips of a different color and texture. While the the colors are, of course, up to the crocheter, we think the white bands interspersed with the polychrome strips are particularly attractive.
