A tribute to ones who are no longer with us..

Without a doubt,  most ofter you are starting a new project to give it to someone you love, welcome a new baby or make a new home decoration. Indeed, all of these are joyful occasions fulfilled with happiness and creativity. However there are times when you want to express your sadness, or honour a person who has passed, in the best possible way. Of course, for us, the most appropriate way is to crochet a memorial blanket. Here are 2 patterns which will be unquestionably perfect for this purpose.

Anno 1926 Blanket

Anno 1926 is a new memorial blanket pattern, designed by Iman van der Kraan. The pattern is foreseen as a CAL which will start on September 2nd and will be released in 15 languages. As the pattern is challenging, it is recommended that you join the CAL at the beginning which will help you to divide the work into smaller, less complicated parts.

Last Dance Under the Clouds

Last Dance Under the Clouds is a color variation of Last Dance on the Beach Blanket – a memorial blanket project which was a tribute to Marinke Slump, a popular crochet designer,  by her online fiends.
