This hexagonal panel blanket is probably the best example of inspiration by nature that I have ever seen. Each hex panel corresponds to a different image of natural beauty. Colorful sunsets, serene medusae, vibrant butterflies, they are all in this blanket, and more. While the color patterns are dazzling and look very intricate, the hexes themselves are easy to make, and if you choose your colors right, you will be able to make use of yarn ends for a stunning effect. This is easily the most amazing blanket or Afghan project that I have seen recently. Size: 54.8” wide x 70” long. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
