This is an easy project and the pattern uses standard US terms.
Materials and Tools
- Drops Cotton Light – one skein of each color. You can use any DK-weight yarn. One heart uses about 5 grams (0,18 oz) of yarn in total.
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- scissors

Measurements
- The heart is 7 cm (2.75 in) tall. Your style of crocheting and the choice of yarn and hook may affect the size.

- sl st – slip stitch
- dc – double crochet
- tr – treble crochet

Heart Decor Free Crochet Pattern
Start: Chain 4, form a loop, and close it with a slip stitch. Note: You can also use a magic ring technique.
Round 1: 3 ch, 2 dc, 2 ch, *3 dc, 2 ch* x 3, slip stitch into the 3rd chain stitch.
Round 2: 3 ch, 2 dc, (*2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc* all in one ch-sp, 3 dc) x 3, *2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc* in the last ch-sp, sl st.
Round 3: 4 sl st (the last one in the ch-sp), 10 tr in the 4th dc (the middle stitch of the side), 1 sl st in the ch-sp, 10 tr in the 4th dc (the middle stitch of another side), sl st.
Cut the yarn, and weave in the ends.
