The Ferris square is a beautiful example of a pattern inspired by a fairground favorite, the Ferris wheel. This is a seemingly complex, but quite easy pattern for a square that would be quite useful in a blanket or afghan. This project is a CAL for an anniversary event, and a lot of support is available online as you make it. The square is quite versatile, because it comes in two sizes: 6″ and 12″, and can be used in combo with other square designs. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
