Hook Organizer Ideas and Free Patterns: Hook Holder Case, Star Hook Case, Crafter Granny

Hook organizers ideas and patterns
Do you remember the crochet hook organizer we posted some time ago? It’s great, if you want to store and organize your hooks and scissors. It can also be made with double rows, should you need to store LOTS of hooks in a compact and very attractive case. Link to the free pattern of Hook Holder Case designed by Priscilla’s Crochet is at the end of the post.

However, if the holder case above is not your metier, and you need something more portable, then how about the Star Hook Case? It can also hold a great variety of hooks, in fact one or more of every hook you use, but it rolls up really compact for travel, or for storage in a small place (like a small apartment).  Designer of this pattern is Alli Hyer.

Hold on, hold on! What if you don’t need portability, and you don’t need compactness, but you are looking for versatility and storage for EVERYTHING? And, on top of this,  do you still want to have ready access to all your crochet supplies? In that case, why don’t you try the adorable organizer below? The Amigurami Granny Doll designed by Zhaya Designs Amigurumis is everything you need for organizing your craft tools. It is a scissors pocket, pin cushion and hook divider all in one… plus it has a bunch more useful nooks and crannies. Link to that pattern is below.

Thank you for sharing. She is adorable. But, you should have had someone who knows how to CORRECTLY write patterns type this up for you. There is a reason there are standard abbreviations and standard pattern writing terms. I understand the time it takes, but the way it is written now is difficult to understand, for someone who has been crocheting 40+ years.

@Dianne: This page isn’t the owner nor the publisher of this pattern. It’s just a link to my page (www.zhaya.de).

You know, it’s a FREE pattern and you don’t have to crochet it. But just so you were complaining.

I’m German and I’m translating my patterns to English for the many many people they where asking for. I’m not a native speaker and I do my very best to make the patterns understandable. I wrote it the way the English patterns are written for Amigurumis I know.

Most of the feedback I’ve received so far is very positive, they can work well with it, except you.

Maybe you could write it a little more kindly and show a little more gratitude. However, have fun crocheting.

Greetings Zhaya

Hi there, I love the granny with the blue / green dress, grey long hair and glasses. Do you have this pattern, or do I have to improvise of the other pattern? Thanks 🙂 Kind regards, Kristina, Denmark

It is based on the pattern Crafter Granny – link to that pattern is at the end of the post.

So sorry for the frustrated reply, but myself, like hundreds before me, cannot find the “link” at the bottom of the curly haired granny pattern. All the links suggested simply return to the pattern picture in a constant circular trail never ending in a pattern. I have asked for assistance from other computer savvy friends and no one can get the pattern past all the “start download” requests. I am sure there is a very simple solution to what I am missing here as I’m sure you want this pattern delivered. Can you help me? Thanks
