Cotton is a wonderful fiber that is washable, does not irritate the skin and comes in a dizzying variety of colors. The Cotton Performance shawl is a great example of what can be made using a pure cotton yarn. The surface of this beautiful project is richly varied, and is a great background for the bands of colors. It will be a perfect project for autumn evenings. The shawl is 5’6″ across and the size is adjustable. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
