Squared Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

The squared blanket is a new take on a classic and timeless design for crochet projects. The squares themselves are just under 5″ on a side, and the finished blanket is 5 squares by 8. Of course, you can modify this as needed. The endearing thing about this pattern is the simplicity, the uncomplicated geometrical centers of the squares repeated in a regular pattern, with the stitching giving the blanket an almost quilted appearance.
