I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

Bullwinkle makes a big comeback! This cute little moose (and moosette!) will surely be a hit with any fan of crocheted toys. Their large size makes these ami moose a great gift for children’s playthings, as a plushie for playing or simply a soft toy for cuddling up with at bedtime. Not only is the pattern easy, but it works up quickly and the effect is great, and you don’t even need to be Canadian to enjoy them 😉 For younger moose fans, who like to explore things by taste, consider using crocheted safety eyes in place of this pattern’s button ones. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
