Yarn
- KOKONEK Classic (3-ply, 50% cotton 50% acrylic) length: 1312 yards (1200 m), 8,5 ounces (~ 240 g) / Light Fingering / col. A027
You can substitute this yarn for:
- 1312 yards (1200 m) of Light Fingering yarn of your choice
or 1640 yards (1500 m) in total of:
- Scheepjes Whirl (Fingering) + Whirlette
- YarnArt Flowers (Fingering) + YarnArt Flowers Unicolor
- Hobbii Twister (Sport) + Hobbii Twister solid
Whichever yarn you choose, always use the smallest recommended hook size. Your yarn choice will affect the final size of your work.

- Crochet hook – 2,5 mm (or other smallest recommended hook size for your yarn)

Notes
- The shawl is worked from the middle top down in rows and the work is turned over after each row.
- The right side (odd rows) of the shawl is indicated by visible post stitches, while the wrong side (even rows) is more simple.
- Numbers in brackets (#) indicate the overall stitch count for the row, where the turning chain from the beginning of the row is counted as 1 stitch (unless stated otherwise).
- The overall stitch count does not include chain stitches in the middle part of the row.
