Summer’s a long way away.
However, that’s no reason at all to not think about it and prepare. So, with that in mind here are some ideas for a perfect cardigan for summer. Overall, each of these will be a sweater that’s just warm enough for a cooler evening, but still light enough so that it’s comfortable all day long. Moreover, each one of these is also somewhat of a fashion statement as well. Consequently, whenever you go out in the summer, you’ll be doing so in style and with class. Finally, while these are slightly more ambitious projects, I definitely think that they are all within reach for everyone, including beginners.

Dream Catcher Cardi
Next, this cardigan for summer is inspired by Native dream catchers. Similarly to mandalas, it’s based on a roughly circular pattern, but is folded so as to be a wearable sweater. Truly, Imost of all appreciate its complex simplicity.

Butterfly Cardigan
Of course, we can also take inspiration from nature. Thus, this cardigan for summer is based on the wings of a butterfly. Without a doubt, designing the seemingly random veining of the wings in a crocheted garment was quite a feat.

Finally, here is another airy and light cardign for summer made using a classic stitch. Without a doubt, it’s a great showcase of this technique’s versatility. Most of all, though, it’s simply a beautiful sweater that I would love to wear.
