I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

It’s time to dress up your floors.

Since its spring, let’s crochet a spring rug or five and make a bland old floor really pop. Of course, you may make one of these just for the sheer you of it. After all, you may like your floors just fine, but rugs are so pretty as well. So, either way, refresh your home and refresh your mind with one of these fantabulous rugs. Moreover, because each of these rugs is different, you will find one to match any decor and any taste. So, whether you are looking for vintage or modern, boho or business, you are certain to find one to your liking here.

While it’s been a while since we looked at some mandalas, let’s explore this mandala-inspired spring rug. In particular, I like the edging that’s such a contrast to the inner circles.

Although it’s called the winter meadow, this spring rug is ideal for a moden or Scandinavian interior. As you can see, it is an absolute match for wooden interiors of a pale hue, such as pine and oak.
