I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

Here is another attractive, pixel-based C2C square. The zebra motif is particularly good for this sort of design, because it has a high contrast and a layout amenable to geometric patterning. Placed on a contrasting background, the zebra head really pops out. Coupled with other animal-based C2C squares, this could be a beautiful Safari-themed blanket for your little wildlife explorer. All that aside, it’s simply an attractive and playful square on its own. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
