I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

Continuing with the Wispweave theme, here are hexagonal doilies that continue the series. In particular, these beauties are made in 12 rounds to a size of 4” across the flats and 6” tip to tip. They are very attractive and unique decorations for your home, much fancier and more intricate than plain crochet doilies. Although you can make them in monochrome, the contrasting edge in addition to a vibrant center color really makes them pop. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
