Here is an interesting take on a Celtic knot. The four intertwined loops form a centerpiece for a larger square made using two different stitches in four distinct, concentric layers (the outer one is additionally edged). This wonderful pattern can be made in a multitude of color variations, including monochrome. Below you will find a pattern for Waldo’s Puzzle Square and border instructions for an afghan.
