Amazing blankets with textures!

So, a textured patchwork throw is a wonderful, colorful way of enlivening the decor in a room, be it a bedroom or living space. Moreover, the tactile aspect of the texture augments its appearance by having a varied surface that stimulates yet another sense. Moreover, while these blankets may LOOK complex, they’re really quite easy to make. Of course, this means that they are perfect even for an ambitious… well, more adventurous beginner. Likewise, they are highly customizable, so you can really make them your own. Better still, they will also make a great, personal and sincere present.

Continuous Mitered Square Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

This textured patchwork throw is undoubtedly a top notch example of just how far you can take the variation in this sort of project. Technicolor dreamcoat? Pshaw! make a continuous mitered blanket instead!

Here is another textured patchwork throw. However, this mitered blanket uses very strong delineation between the colored miters, thus achieving a more field-like effect. Lovely!

Pathwork Throw

The beautiful textured patchwork throw below is made of mitered squares. Overall, it’s constructed in a super smart way, in that each square gets joined as you go.
