As summer winds down into fall, it’s good to say good bye with one last hurrah and work up a summer-themed project to wave farewell to the sun and surf. The Mediterranean Summer cal is a beautiful blanket evocative of warm beaches and wine at little seaside bistros. And, because it is a CAL, it’s a great way to build the crochet community.  A link to the free pattern is below photos.

At the same time, fear not. After summer, it’s time for the fall and its beautiful colors and evenings spent around the fireplace with a cup of something warming. Why not ring in this beautiful season with the Autumn Rhapsody blanket, a veritable explosion of fall earthtones and also a lovely project.

Thank you for the free patterns! I just wish that they were more unusual.
Is it possible to post more unusual women’s patterns such as the peacock shawl?

If you’re going to do a pattern like this, please list the instructions instead of saying repeat whatever row all the time! It was so annoying and confusing! How hard is it to copy and paste “sc across”? All of the ads also caused it to flip up to a different row and get me on the wrong row a few times. Wasn’t sure at first, but after finished, I love it!
