Star Shaped Blanket Free Crochet Patterns

Squares and rectangles are not the only shapes good for a blanket!

In fact, here is a small collection of star-shaped blankets to show you the versatility of this non-traditional blanket shape. Conversely, in homage to traditional sensibilities, these projects use classic stitches and textures. Therefore, any one of these wonderful blankets will be just perfect for both a modern and a rustic interior, Also, if you have a housewarming to attend, such a blanket will be just the thing to make a new house comfy and beautiful.

Rainbow Ripple Star-Shaped Baby Blanket

The Rainbow Ripple Blanket is a beautiful example of how a circle-based pattern can be modified by using straight lines in radially increasing chevrons. This makes a symmetrical starburst pattern that is further accentuated by the layout of the voids and the color bands. This would make a great blanket for keeping the little sprog off the floor during playtime.
