Crochet Spike Stitch Free Tutorial

Figuring out how to crochet a spike stitch is a piece of cake with this tutorial. Spike stitches are used to add some fun to your crochet projects. They are made with what are basically extended single knits. When you make constant single crochet, you work into the adjacent stitch beneath the new row (meaning one below). The spike stitch is worked either 2, 3 or 4 rows beneath the new one you are working. Various lengths of this weave can be combined in a multitude of methods to make fun, geometric layouts.
