I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

Here is an idea for your next project.

While we had a look at some crochet socks yesterday, sometimes you want something on the feet, but not necessarily a fortress of wool. To this end, here are some patterns for spa slippers. Of course, they’re every bit as comfy as thick crocheted socks, but they are not as heavy and warm. Thus they are more comfortable for a warmer day or for wearing all day around the home… or, indeed, at the spa. Moreover, they are also easy patterns, which means that if you are off to a last-minute spa trip, you can have a pair ready when you head out. Also, you can customize them as well, in terms of size, color and texture, so that each pair will be your very own creation.
